Our recommendations: what not to miss in February on Freevee
- Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021): Following the first installment – a cult movie where big and small alike delighted in Michael Jordan’s performance – this new version returns with another basketball and NBA icon: LeBron James. It will be a wonderful trip down memory lane for the nostalgic and fans of the classic Looney Tunes with Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, and company. Add more technology and visual effects and enjoy.
- Pokémon: Detective Pikachu: more for the youngsters in an adventure where the world in which people collect Pokémon goes into battle. Directed by Rob Letterman and featuring Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, and Kathryn Newton as guest stars.
- Candyman (2021): a counterpoint to the previous ones. Horror in Chicago due to the threat of a supposed killer with a hook for a hand, who is summoned by repeating his name 5 times in front of a mirror. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Teyonah Parris lead this horror story turned into a narrative of social and racial political activism.
