How many episodes of ‘Hazbin Hotel’ will there be and how often will Prime Video release them?

Here's what you need to know about 'Hazbin Hotel', the animated series that premiered this January 19 on Prime Video, based on the stories of Vivienne Medrano.

The first season of the eagerly awaited Hazbin Hotel TV series from creator Vivienne Medrano has eight episodes, with the first episode premiering on January 19, 2024, together with the next three episodes, so from day one you could have a pretty good binge. 

The show follows Charlie, Hell’s princess and Lucifer’s daughter, as she seeks to deal with Hell’s overpopulation problem with a demon redemption program at a special hotel. After the first four episodes were released on the opening day, the next four were released two per week, meaning the eight episodes of season one were released in the following manner:

Friday, January 19: Episodes 1 to 4

Friday, January 26: Episodes 5 and 6

Friday, February 2: Episodes 7 and 8

Will there be a second season of Hazbin Hotel? 

Amazon Prime has already confirmed that the adult animated musical comedy has been renewed for Season 2, though there is no expected release date as yet. 

Can I watch the pilot of Hazbin Hotel? 

Hazbin Hotel is based on Vivienne Medrano’s 2019 YouTube pilot, which has now had over 90 million views, so if you want to see what all the fuss is about, head on over. The Amazon Prime series has been produced by A24, with Medrano having full creative control. 

American actress and singer Erika Henningsen plays Charlie, while Brooklyn 99 star Stephanie Beatriz plays her girlfriend and hotel manager Vaggie.
