Are you ready? The much-anticipated television series ‘Fallout’ is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024. The series, inspired by the legendary video games of the same name from Interplay and Bethesda, unfolds in a devastated Los Angeles in the year 2296.
The setting is that of a planet ravaged by a nuclear war that lasted only a few hours but which plunged Earth into absolute chaos. Two centuries later, the fight for survival becomes the central theme of a plot where Lucy must leave the comfort of her shelter to venture into the hostile and dangerous city of Los Angeles.
The first season of ‘Fallout’ will have eight episodes
The inaugural season of ‘Fallout’ will feature eight episodes, released weekly. With the first episode set to air on April 12, the subsequent episodes will be released in April, May, and June.
The creators behind this colossal production are well-known figures in the science fiction world: Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. The executive producers include Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, Athena Wickhman, James Altman, and Todd Howard, in addition to Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy themselves.
The series is produced by Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios, and Amazon Studios. Direction for the series is handled by several directors, including John Dahl, who has directed episodes of series like ‘Dexter’, ‘Breaking Bad’, and ‘The Walking Dead’, as well as Jonathan Nolan, who will direct the first three episodes.
